Scott and Rachel Phillips
Assistant Pastors
Scott and Rachel joined the Kenai New Life ministry team in early 2019.
They were married in 1993 and moved to Alaska that same year after serving in the U.S. Army where they first met.
This began a remarkable season for the Phillips with Scott coming to faith in Christ through the ministry of Wasilla Assembly of God church (now Summit Worship Center). Their time in Wasilla set the trajectory for their marriage and family as the Lord began a deep work in their hearts. It was at this same time that Scott began to sense a calling to the ministry.
Over the last 20 years Scott and Rachel have been involved in discipleship, working with Teen Challenge, Churches and Missions Organizations to serve in the advance of the life giving message of the Gospel.
The Phillips have 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
