Stephen and Jolynn Brown
LEAD PASTORS
Stephen and JoLynn have led New Life since 1988 and have 40 years of serving Alaska. Stephen and JoLynn have been married since 1982. They have served churches in various capacities in Stanwood, WA, Juneau, Anchorage and Kenai, AK. Stephen was raised in Alaska and JoLynn in Montana. They have two sons and five grandchildren.
Stephen graduated with a B.A. from Northwest University and with an M.A. from Azusa Pacific University. He currently serves as the Treasurer for the Alaska Ministry Network. Both Stephen and JoLynn are ordained ministers with the General Council of the Assemblies of God.
Josh and Lindsay Dryer
Associate Lead Pastor
Josh and Lindsay Dryer joined the New Life staff in April 2024 as Associate Lead Pastors. They were born and raised in Oklahoma and have three children: Nora, Zeke, and Halle.
Josh, a graduate of Central Bible College, brings a wealth of experience to his role. He has served on staff at various churches across the country, including Missouri, Florida, Alaska, and, most recently, Oklahoma, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of the church's role in the world today.
Josh is Ordained, and Lindsay is Certified with the Assemblies of God. They're passionate about apprenticeship to Jesus, spiritual formation, the local church, and Alaska! They love specialty coffee, family adventures in the outdoors, and spending time in community with others.
